Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. in Monroe, NC is seeking an engineering intern to assist with testing, assembly, and documentation of Capital, AFM, and NPD products, and to participate in design reviews.

The role emphasizes characterization of equipment, data reporting, updating data books, compiling data packages, and creating BOMs and datasheets. Strong SolidWorks familiarity and Microsoft Office skills are preferred, with ongoing coursework in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Test, assemble, and document Capital, AFM, and NPD products.

Principal Activities

You Will:

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

You Have:

• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, and critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently following direction, with strong time management skills
• Understanding of basic engineering principles and practices
• Basic design skills and familiarity with SolidWorks or other, similar design software
• Solid skillset in Microsoft Office suite
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles a plus

Education & Experience

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university engineering program, having completed Sophomore, Junior or Senior year, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
• Design experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software
