Job summary

Cadence is a clinical AI company automating chronic disease care. We are seeking a student intern to help discover and translate patient and clinician needs into AI-powered product experiences.

You will work with engineering, design, clinical, and operations teams to prototype, launch, and iterate, sometimes shadowing calls and training care teams. This is a 12-week summer program, remote within the U.S., with a compensation of $55/hour.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, or related field with expected graduation Dec 2027 or May/June 2028
• Prior internship or equivalent experience working on products, technology, healthcare, or customer problems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to structure ambiguous questions
• Product-first mindset and genuine interest in understanding user needs and driving real-world outcomes quickly
• Deep curiosity about AI, LLMs, and emerging technologies with sound judgment to leverage them for meaningful outcomes

Responsibilities

• Conduct product discovery by identifying patient, clinician, and care team pain points through research, data, and operational feedback
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear product requirements, workflows, and success metrics

• Roll up your sleeves to drive impact wherever needed - from shadowing patient calls and training care teams to prototyping solutions and shipping code

THE ROLE
