Job summary

MACOM, a global leader in RF, microwave, and photonics, is seeking a Product Line Manager to drive semiconductor product lines for AI and cloud data centers. You will translate market needs into product definitions and go-to-market strategies, owning revenue and demand forecasting.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations, manage P&L, and support the sales organization while interacting with key customers. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree required.
• Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) a plus.
• 5+ years related semiconductor product management, marketing and/or applications engineering experience.
• System level experience with Networking technologies (Laser Drivers, TIAs, DSPs, Equalizers).
• Knowledge of analog and mixed signal circuitry a plus.
• Able to work in and foster a teamwork environment with a demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across multiple functional areas.
• Must be an effective communicator with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization, possessing a thorough command of the English language, written as well as verbal.
• Willing to travel over 20% of time including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for P&L of semiconductor products targeted for optical and copper connectivity in data center applications including laser drivers, TIA, CDR and copper equalizers.
• Define next generation products (specs, features, etc.) based on future customer needs, innovative ideas, competitive analysis, standards trends, marketing and R&D inputs, cost constraints, etc.
• Assess market trends and market sizing (TAM/SAM)
• Work closely with sales, visit key customers to understand their challenges/needs and promote new products.
• Work closely with R&D and operations throughout the design phase and until production release to assure compliance to customer needs.
