Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Orlando. You will work closely with our attorneys, providing support before, during, and after trials.

Responsibilities include drafting and filing pleadings, conducting legal research, handling discovery, and coordinating depositions. The role is on-site, offering direct exposure to active cases and courtroom readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or related areas preferred.
• Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to calendar depositions, mediations, hearings.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits.
• E-file court documents in state and federal court.
• Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents and responses.
• Draft and serve summons; coordinate and summarize depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Assist with case settlements and witness prep.
• Assist with administrative duties and calendar deadlines.
• Liaise between trial teams and external parties.
