Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Product Liability Attorney to join our team in the Philadelphia area (also open to Pittsburgh, Sharon, PA, or Marlton, NJ). The attorney will defend product liability and toxic tort matters, manage cases from start to resolution, and develop litigation strategies for manufacturers and other corporate clients.

Candidates should have 2–5+ years of product liability experience, strong civil litigation skills, and excellent writing, research, negotiation, and courtroom

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, discovery, and motion practice.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.

• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

Job description

Product Liability Attorney | Philadelphia/Pittsburgh/Sharon, PA or Marlton, NJ (Any location is fine) | $160,000-$350,000/Annually + bonus and benefits (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle product liability/Toxic Tort defense matters involving alleged design defects, manufacturing defects, and failure-to-warn claims.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies to defend manufacturers, distributors, and other corporate clients.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience with product liability/Toxic Tort experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, discovery, and motion practice.
• Excellent legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $160,000-$350,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
