Job summary

Synchrony seeks a Product Manager for the Card Access $2B+ product to own strategy and evolution across digital payment ecosystems. You will translate customer and business needs into product direction, driving discovery through launch, adoption, measurement, and optimization.

This role requires collaborating across business, technology, client, and functional teams to shape future consumer transactions and payments capabilities. Hybrid work model offered with potential hub and office engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6+ years in digital product ownership.
• 3+ years leading lifecycle of digital products, roadmaps and discovery through launch.
• Experience with Agile, backlog management, PI planning, and clear docs.
• Strong data analytics and ability to turn insights into product decisions.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and evolve Card Access product strategy and roadmap; lead initiatives through launch and lifecycle management.
• Identify, evaluate, and validate new concepts via market research, insights, and trends.
• Translate objectives into clear product requirements and priorities for Agile teams.
• Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams for readiness and planning; maintain docs and roadmaps.
• Develop business cases, value propositions, and commercialization plans with go-to-market teams.
• Stay current on payment capabilities (tokenization, provisioning, wallets) to inform strategy.
• Establish product success metrics and own outcomes like adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Operations, Risk, Analytics, and clients.
• Communicate vision, roadmap, risks, and results; balance trade-offs across value, risk, and speed.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
