Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC in New York City is seeking a Founding Product Leader to define and execute the product vision for an AI-powered consumer intelligence platform at scale. You will own the roadmap and directly influence the company’s trajectory.

You will combine technical fluency with product strategy, guiding data infrastructure, identity, enrichment, or API-first features while partnering with engineers on architecture and experimentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment.
• Experience building products for data infrastructure, identity resolution, data enrichment, developer platforms, or API-first software.
• Strong understanding of data schemas, identity graphs, match rates, coverage, latency, and large-scale data systems.
• Proven track record building and scaling API-first products used by technical customers such as engineers, data scientists, analytics teams, or RevOps organizations.
• Comfortable reading and reasoning through engineering codebases (AI-assisted tooling is encouraged) and collaborating deeply with technical teams.

Responsibilities

This is a full-time opportunity based in the New York City with a fast growing, well-funded startup building AI native products at scale. We're looking for a Founding Product Leader to define and execute our company's product vision from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to own the roadmap for an AI-powered consumer intelligence platform at an early stage and have a direct impact on the company's trajectory. The ideal candidate is a technically fluent, metrics-driven product leader with experience building data infrastructure, identity, enrichment, or API-first platforms. You think about schemas, identity resolution, match rates, and latency as naturally as you think about user experience and product strategy. While you won't be expected to write production code, you should be comfortable reading and reasoning through codebases using AI-assisted tools, partnering closely with engineers, and making informed technical product decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

What You Will Be Doing

Tech Breakdown

• 70% Product Strategy, AI Product Development & Platform Leadership (defining product vision, roadmap prioritization, AI-driven product innovation, business outcomes, and platform strategy)
• 30% Technical Product Execution (partnering with engineering on architecture decisions, product delivery, data-driven experimentation, and technical feasibility)

Daily Responsibilities

• 50% Product Leadership & Strategy (owning product vision, roadmap planning, prioritization, go-to-market alignment, and business impact)
• 30% Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management (collaborating with executives, engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customers to drive outcomes)
• 20% Product Execution & Customer Discovery (analyzing product performance, gathering customer insights, validating opportunities, and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives)

The Offer
