Job summary

REALM in New York City is seeking a Product Engineer to own the product experience built on top of our AI agents and to influence what gets built with founders, design and customers.

You’ll build AI-powered features end to end, work directly with customers for feedback, and partner with design to elevate frontend quality while scoping projects and delivering with a strong emphasis on code quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally at an early-stage startup.
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, Node.js (NestJS preferred) and PostgreSQL.
• Track record of owning features from concept to launch across product, design and GTM.
• Strong product instincts and a genuine interest in user experience.

We’re partnering with a venture-backed AI startup in New York building autonomous software for engineering teams. Their platform uses AI agents to monitor live production environments: it diagnoses problems, ships fixes and learns to prevent repeat issues. Backed by a top-tier Series A and well-known founders from leading tech companies, they’re growing their engineering team and looking for a Product Engineer to help build the core product.

The role

You’ll own the product experience built on top of the company’s AI agents, turning what they discover and resolve into something engineering teams rely on every day. You’ll work closely with the founders, design and customers, with real influence over what gets built and how.

What you’ll do

• Build and launch AI-powered features end to end, from data models and APIs through to polished user interfaces

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience, ideally including time at an early-stage startup
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, Node.js (NestJS preferred) and PostgreSQL
• A track record of owning features from concept to launch, working across product, design and go-to-market
• Strong product instincts and a genuine interest in how users experience what you build
• Bonus: experience building with LLMs or AI agents, a background in developer tools or observability, or time as a founder, early engineer or tech lead
