Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to guide new products from concept through production, ensuring smooth onboarding and process capability.

You will collaborate with design, industrial engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize layouts, standardize methods, and improve throughput while maintaining safety and cost efficiency. This role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Years of Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing engineering.
• Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, CAD, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Work with the New Product and Design Engineering teams from concept to production introduction.
• Process and implement Engineering Change Notices to ensure producibility and proper routing.
• Coordinate material and tooling availability with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement efficient and safe work methods and lean material flows.
• Provide training and standard work for manufacturing personnel on critical processes.
• Plan and implement shop layouts to improve material flow and capacity.
• Establish time standards for costing system approvals.
• Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and explore new methods.
