Job summary

US Farathane Corporation is seeking a Launch Manager to oversee the launch of new and modified products. This role coordinates all requirements from quote acceptance through part approval and assumes ultimate responsibility for program success.

The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced plastics manufacturing environment, collaborating with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Quality to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• At least five years of practical work experience in project management.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• BS degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or education/experience equivalency.
• Experience in plastics manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the planning, development and launch of new projects.
• Serves as primary liaison between Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service and Quality.
• Manages project requirements and inputs including planning, logistics, operations and financial performance.
• Communicates customer product quality, on-time delivery, configuration and inventory requirements.
• Prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports for customers and stakeholders.
• Drives continuous improvement on new program launches and interfaces with customers and internal teams.
