Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Product Engagement Manager on the User Operations team in San Francisco, CA. You will lead a small team focused on ensuring smooth product launches across internal and external teams, acting as the bridge between product and support operations to scale customer interactions.

You’ll develop scalable feedback loops, translate insights into product improvements, and enable frontline teams with knowledge and tools to support new rollouts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product enablement or launch-readiness functions at scale.
• Ability to translate customer and product insights into actionable improvements.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team coordinating product launches across internal and external teams.
• Set the team’s strategy, goals and quality standards; allocate capacity accordingly.
• Build a Voice of the User program with scalable feedback loops between support, Product and Engineering.
• Advocate for users in product and engineering discussions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to align on launch goals.
• Monitor post-launch performance and drive improvements.
• Document and standardize launch procedures to make them repeatable and scalable.
• Identify launch risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Report on feedback-loop performance and roadmap implications.
