Job summary

Hawkeye Search Group is seeking a Product Integrity Manager to lead the global execution of our chemical management and product integrity program, ensuring product safety and compliance meet licensor expectations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Management or an apparel-related science, 3-5+ years in designing, developing, or manufacturing children's apparel, and strong knowledge of international safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Management or an apparel-related science.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in designing, developing, or manufacturing children's apparel (manufacturing environment experience a plus).
  • Solid working knowledge of international safety regulations for children's apparel and accessories.
  • Self-starter who can multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with close attention to detail.
  • Able to travel up to 30%.
  • Experience with AS400 and/or PLM systems a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current on industry, licensor, and global regulatory requirements affecting products shipped into each region.
  • Build out compliance standards and training expectations, and monitor new factories for adherence.
  • Support global teams in maintaining safe, compliant manufacturing practices.
  • Review audit and test results to confirm compliance with chemical and safety requirements.
  • Oversee failure remediation, lead root cause investigations, and implement preventative measures.
  • Coordinate with overseas testing partners to resolve issues and meet seasonal testing and documentation deadlines.
  • Run seasonal product risk assessments across all brands, collaborating with Sourcing and Design teams.
  • Flag and escape process or systems issues that slow program progress.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Sourcing, Design, overseas Merchandising, Quality Assurance, licensors, and third-party service providers.
  • Help recruit, train, and develop team talent.
  • Take on special projects as needed.

Overview

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with close attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with remote, multicultural teams
  • Able to travel up to 30%
  • Proficient with Excel and database systems
  • Basic understanding of foundational chemistry
  • Experience with AS400 and/or PLM systems a plus
