Position Summary

Location: HQ - Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Status: Full-time, 100% on-site. Compensation: $100,000-$135,000 annually.

The Senior Manager of Compliance leads and executes global compliance programs across Kith’s apparel, accessories, and lifestyle product categories, ensuring all products meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Product safety & regulatory compliance – ensure adherence to global regulations (CPSIA, Canada SOR, EN 71, EU Product Passports, REACH, Prop 65, etc.) and manage testing for apparel, accessories and lifestyle products.
• Category‑specific oversight – manage flammability, lead, small parts, CPCs, ACE for kids and baby products.
• Testing program management – coordinate with labs and vendors to schedule testing and certification.
• Risk assessment – evaluate compliance risk for new product categories introduced via collaborations.
• Policy development – develop, update and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
• Internal audits – conduct regular audits to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulations.
• Reporting – prepare and present compliance reports for senior management.
• SOP & manuals – collaborate with Product Development and Production to keep Kith SOPs up to date for internal and external partners.
• Vendor & partner compliance – enforce NDA requirements, monitor brand protection, oversee vendor onboarding, corrective actions and continuous improvement across licensees and collaborators.
• Factory audits – manage BSCI, SMETA, WRAP audits and corrective action plans.
• Cross‑functional partnership – embed compliance early with Product Development, support SOP updates, align with Legal and Quality teams.
• Training & continuous improvement – deliver training to teams and vendors, drive improvements, issue chargebacks, track compliance data.
• KPI/Success metrics – % of products passing testing on first submission;, reduction in compliance failures and recalls;, on‑time testing and certification completion rate;, factory audit pass rates and CAP closure timelines;, vendor compliance onboarding success rate;, reduction in chemical/RSL violations;, speed to market without compliance delays;, compliance coverage across all collaborations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, textiles, law, or related field.
• 6–8+ years’ experience in apparel or consumer goods compliance.
• Strong knowledge of CPSIA, REACH, Prop 65 and testing standards.
• Preferred experience with kids/baby, accessories and lifestyle product compliance.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency with compliance management software and tools.
