Job summary

Hayden Industrial in Oklahoma is seeking a Product Development Engineer to design, develop, test, and launch new products and improvements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–7+ years in product development or design engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CAD software: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products, components, and systems from requirements.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Lead product development from concept through prototype to production.
• Ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness with operations.
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing, and design verification.
• Analyze performance, reliability, and failure data for improvements.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers on material selection and specs.
• Ensure compliance with standards and customer specs.
• Maintain project timelines and report progress to leadership.
