Job summary

Fastenal is hiring a Product Handling Manager in Indianapolis to supervise the Product Handling department, consolidate product, restock locations and move inventory within the distribution center.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, development and supervision of team members.
• Coordinating employees, including scheduling, hiring and exiting.
• Ensuring short term and long term goals are met.
• Training and developing employees.
• Communicating with employees and branches.

• Restocking product.
• Moving inventory throughout the distribution center.
• Analyzing staffing needs, reports and projections to optimize output and meet department goals.

• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives.
