Fastenal Co. in Indianapolis is seeking a Picking Lead to manage the day-to-day Picking department at the IN100 Distribution Center. You will lead a team to pick, pack, label, and route orders to Sortation, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.

This full-time role may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to perform required tasks.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Lead and motivate a team of employees.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically 25lbs-50lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Pass the required drug screen (US, Puerto Rico and Guam).
