Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking an Associate Product Manager for Architectural Coatings in Vernon Hills, IL. You will drive product development from ideation to launch and help shape market strategies in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

You will report to the Senior Product Manager and bring a 4+ year track record in marketing or product management, plus a Bachelor’s degree. Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and Sales to grow profitable product lines with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
• 4+ years of marketing or product management experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive initiatives forward.
• Experience in coatings, building materials, or adjacent industries a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support product development from ideation to launch, using market insights and Stage-Gate processes.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy.
• Collaborate with Creative and Marketing teams to execute product positioning and go-to-market plans.
• Manage assigned product lines, identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation.
• Analyze category performance and make data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and share.
