Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking an Associate Product Manager for the Small Project Paints segment in Vernon Hills, IL. You will support the product management team, lead select projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and market campaigns.

The role emphasizes lifecycle management from ideation to launch, data-driven decision making with Power BI, and a hybrid work setup with two remote days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
• Entry-level role with exposure to brand or product work.
• Experience using Power BI and other reporting tools to analyze data and derive insights.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Finance, Sales, R&D, Insights.

Responsibilities

• Support product management and lead projects including enhancements and GTM initiatives.
• Manage product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch analysis.
• Drive new product development with cross-functional teams to realize ideas.
• Design, develop, launch and support product campaigns.
• Collaborate with Creative on visually appealing interfaces.
• Conduct market research and monitor trends and competition.
• Analyze data to formulate product recommendations.
• Evaluate opportunities via stage-gate from ideation to market launch.
• Manage portfolio to promote new products and grow existing lines.
• Monitor competitive landscape and business developments for strategic opportunities.
• Ensure profitability within market segments; define positioning, features and pricing.
• Travel about 5% annually for presentations and shows.
