AI Digital is seeking a skilled software engineer to translate business needs into scalable AI-powered applications. You will work with stakeholders to define requirements, user flows, prototypes, and milestones, and prioritize work across multiple projects.

You will deploy and iterate with Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and AI development tools, validate implementations for quality and security, own the user experience, and drive production hosting and monitoring decisions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, including frontend.
• Experience with backend development, APIs, databases, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design.
• Knowledge of web fundamentals: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, proxies.
• Hands-on Linux, Docker, and CI/CD deployment experience.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues with monitoring/alerting.
• Understanding of security for applications, infrastructure, dependencies.
• Experience using AI development tools with judgment to verify outputs.
• Ability to clarify ambiguous requests and drive work to completion.
• Interest in understanding users and owning product outcomes.

• Own the ongoing health of your products, coordinating incident resolution and addressing underlying issues with the team.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

3+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial frontend experience.

Practical experience with backend development, APIs, databases, and SQL.

A solid understanding of software architecture and system design, including reliability, scalability, data consistency, and common engineering trade-offs.

Understanding of web and networking fundamentals: DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, and proxying.

Hands-on experience deploying applications and working with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD.

Experience troubleshooting production issues and working with monitoring and alerting.

Understanding of application, infrastructure, and third-party dependency security.

Experience using AI development tools, with the technical judgment to verify their output and recognize when an approach needs to change.

The ability to clarify ambiguous requests, explain trade-offs, and drive work through to completion.

An interest in understanding users, making product decisions, and taking ownership beyond implementation.

Nice to Have

Experience turning a business problem into a solution and supporting it after launch.

Familiarity with product discovery, prioritization, analytics, or project delivery.

Interface design experience and familiarity with Figma and design systems.

Experience with high-traffic systems, caching, queues, and performance optimization.

AdTech experience and an understanding of advertising networks and platforms.

Familiarity with BigQuery, Google APIs, and integrations with tools such as Slack, Asana, or HubSpot.
