Job summary

Vercel is seeking an FP&A Manager, Product to join our Finance team. You will be the financial lead for Engineering, Product, and Design, owning OpEx and headcount planning while building scalable systems that improve visibility and decision-making.

You will partner cross-functionally with Engineering leadership, People, and Strategic Finance to ensure investments are intentional, efficient, and aligned with long-term company strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with engineering and product teams.
• Strong understanding of cloud economics and AI compute scaling.
• Experience building scenario-driven models with clear assumptions.
• Ability to automate reporting and build scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Own OpEx and headcount budgets across Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD).
• Build bottoms-up headcount models by function and level.
• Develop forecasting models for cloud hosting, AI compute, internal tooling, and SaaS.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions and ROI-impactful investments across EPD.
• Lead monthly budget vs actual reviews and automate reporting to improve accrual accuracy.
• Implement scalable financial controls and approval workflows for headcount and vendor spend.
