Job summary

Vercel in San Francisco seeks an FP&A Manager, Product to lead financial planning for Engineering, Product and Design. You will own OpEx and headcount forecasting, partnering with Engineering leadership, People and Strategic Finance to keep investments aligned with long-term strategy.

You will build robust models, drive monthly BvA reviews, and design scalable controls that balance speed with financial discipline while supporting growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering FP&A for engineering/product organizations.
• Strong financial modeling and scenario planning skills.
• Ability to partner with engineering, people and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Product investment envelope; manage OpEx and headcount budgets across EPD.
• Drive rigorous workforce planning across technical and corporate teams.
• Model infrastructure and internal systems economics with forecasting for cloud, AI/compute and SaaS.
• Translate roadmap and priorities into financial tradeoffs with ROI focus.
• Lead monthly BvA reviews; automate reporting and improve accrual accuracy.
• Design scalable financial controls for headcount, vendor spend and tooling.
• Partner with Engineering leaders to align product velocity with financial outcomes.
• Understand cloud and enterprise tooling cost drivers and their impact on margins.
• Manage complex headcount models across departments and hiring pace.
• Build scenario-driven models with clear assumptions and sensitivity analyses.
