Vigy AI Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer - Product to build the parts of Vigy that customers interact with directly: the command center dashboard, onboarding flows, billing, and the admin tools our own team relies on.

You’ll work primarily in our Rails + Hotwire (Turbo/Stimulus) stack, turning product decisions into a fast, reliable app experience with a lightweight JS footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with server-rendered UI (Hotwire/Turbo/Stimulus) or similar.
• Ability to own a feature end-to-end (schema design, backend, UI).
• Experience with Stripe or billing systems is a plus.
• Pragmatic, shipping-focused development.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features across customer-facing dashboard, onboarding, and account settings.
• Work in Rails, Hotwire, and TailwindCSS to ship fast, responsive UI.
• Build and maintain internal admin tools for users, content, and billing.
• Improve the account lifecycle: signup, email verification, subscriptions/credits, and billing via Stripe.
• Write background jobs (SolidQueue) for non-blocking tasks.
• Collaborate with founders on product decisions and translate fuzzy requirements into shipped features.
• Fix bugs and improve performance across the app.

We're hiring a Software Engineer - Product to build the parts of Vigy that customers interact with directly: the command center dashboard, onboarding flows, billing, and the admin tools our own team relies on. You'll work primarily in our Rails + Hotwire (Turbo/Stimulus) stack, turning product decisions into a fast, reliable app experience. This role is less about agent internals and more about shipping a product that feels effortless to use.

What you'll do

• – Design and build features across the customer-facing dashboard, onboarding, and account settings
• – Work in Rails, Hotwire (Turbo + Stimulus), and TailwindCSS to ship fast, responsive UI without a heavy JS framework
• – Build and maintain internal admin tools that let our team manage users, content, and billing
• – Improve the account lifecycle: signup, email verification, subscriptions/credits, and billing via Stripe
• – Write background jobs (SolidQueue) for anything that shouldn't block a page load
• – Partner with founders on product decisions, translating fuzzy requirements into a shipped feature
• – Fix bugs and improve performance across the app, from slow queries to confusing UI flows

What we're looking for

• – 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with some in Ruby on Rails
• – Comfortable owning a feature end-to-end: schema design, backend logic, and the UI on top of it
• – Experience with Hotwire (Turbo/Stimulus) or a similar server-rendered, low-JS approach to building UI
• – Product sense — you notice when a flow is confusing and have opinions on how to fix it
• – Experience with Stripe or another billing/subscription system is a plus
• – Pragmatic engineering judgment: you ship, measure, and iterate rather than over-engineering up front
