Job summary

OpenRouter, Inc. is hiring Software Engineers for the Product team to build dashboards, admin tooling, billing, analytics, onboarding, and other user-facing features. You will own pieces end-to-end, work closely with PMs and designers, and ship customer-facing products for an enterprise AI routing platform.

The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and a track record of delivering working software as the product scales, with opportunities to influence the product direction.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience shipping external-facing products as a full-stack or product engineer with strong product taste and judgment.
• Proficient in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and JS runtimes.
• High agency and a bias toward action; you talk to users, you iterate, you ship.
• AI-forward in your workflow, using coding agents and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high quality customer-facing products and features.
• Own products from concept to production, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with product and design to shape what we build and how we build it.
• Identify bottlenecks, monitor and optimize frontend and backend performance.
• Raise the bar for product quality, design polish, and craft as the team grows.
