Job Description Summary:

SAP Production Planning Product Experts are specialists in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. They provide deep functional and technical expertise, responsible for design, development, and maintenance of their module. They gather, clarify business requirements, define stories, and support team members technically.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP Production Planning (PP) projects.
• Gather requirements through interviews, process reviews, shadowing, document analysis, workshops, site visits, and business process descriptions.
• Evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, identify gaps, decompose high-level info, and distinguish user requests from true needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze requirements and deliver artifacts like Process Flows, Technical Design, User Stories, GUI designs, etc.
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Translate customer business needs into application and operational requirements.
• Work with developers to establish technical vision, balancing usability, functionality, and performance.
• Implement and deploy SAP solutions for Production Planning and related components like Order Management and Finance.
• Design, document, and implement processes and improvements, collaborating with process owners and SAP specialists.
• Work with Product Managers on technical feasibility and sustainability of product features.
• Define testing requirements and orchestrate system demos and tests.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years implementing SAP, including S/4 HANA.
• 5+ years configuring SAP Production Planning solutions, interfacing with external systems.
• 5 years of business and functional requirements analysis.
• Experience troubleshooting complex applications.
• Experience in medium to large SAP initiatives.
• Experience with SAP Warehouse Management (WM) is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Expert in SAP PP with ability to engage with business and configure solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to specify requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
