Job Description Summary:

SAP Production Planning Product Experts are specialists in the SAP Production Planning (PP) module. They provide deep functional and technical expertise, responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of their module. They gather, clarify business requirements, define stories, and support the team with technical guidance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as SME for SAP Production Planning (PP) projects
• Gather requirements through interviews, process reviews, shadowing, document analysis, workshops, site visits, and process descriptions
• Evaluate information, reconcile conflicts, identify gaps, decompose information, and understand user needs
• Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs and deliver artifacts like Process Flows, Technical and Solution Designs, User Stories, Use Cases, GUI screens, and interfaces
• Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Translate business needs into application and operational requirements
• Work with developers and experts to establish technical vision and analyze usability, functionality, and performance trade-offs
• Implement and deploy SAP solutions for Production Planning and related components
• Design, document, and improve processes in collaboration with process owners and SAP teams
• Coordinate technical feasibility assessments with Product Managers
• Define testing requirements and orchestrate system demos and tests

Are you a MATCH?

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent

Required Experience:

• 5+ years implementing SAP, including S/4 HANA
• 5+ years configuring SAP PP and interfacing with external systems
• 5 years analyzing business and functional requirements
• Experience troubleshooting complex applications
• Experience in medium to large SAP initiatives
• Knowledge of SAP WM is a plus

• Expert in SAP PP, capable of engaging with business and configuring solutions
• Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholders
• Stakeholder management and engagement skills
• Ability to specify requirements, develop migration strategies, and ensure alignment with strategic goals
