Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Product Engineering Supervisor to lead a team of engineers at the Arden, NC manufacturing facility, owning workload planning, performance management, coaching, and enforcing engineering standards.

This onsite role partners with Customer Order Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Line Sales to deliver high-quality custom designs and drive continuous improvement in alignment with customer requirements and Eaton standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of experience leading or supervising a technical, operations, or engineering team.
• Four (4) years of technical/engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering production schedules by balancing resources, monitoring milestone deliverables, and supporting Sales/Marketing, Manufacturing, Warranty, and LVA Custom Order Design functions.
• Assign and prioritize orders based on skill sets, workload, and order complexity to ensure on-time and accurate engineering output.
• Provide direct supervision to SB06 and SB07 engineering staff, including work assignment, performance evaluation, coaching, and corrective action as required.
• Support new product and custom design efforts, including development of customer-specific solutions and standard configurations.
• Identify and implement design improvements to enhance performance, quality, manufacturability, and cost.
• Develop and coach engineers through ongoing guidance, career development support, and performance management.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, workflows, and overall team efficiency.
