Job summary

Gentherm, a global leader in thermal management technologies, seeks an experienced design engineer to own end-to-end development of heated, cooled, and ventilated systems from concept through production. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to meet performance, quality, cost and timing targets while delivering customer-specific solutions.

In this role, you will manage design FMEA/DVP&R, coordinate documentation, and lead design reviews.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and automotive industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product design meets industry quality standards and APQP process.
• Act as technical liaison between customer and project management.
• Initiate, review, and release FMEA, DVP&R, BOM and drawings.
• Organize manufacturing/industrial engineering documentation for new and existing products.
• Lead design reviews and audit progress throughout the product life cycle.
• Support production and quality with design-related issues and validation.
• Drive product improvements and cost reductions across the life cycle.
