Job summary

KLA is seeking a senior field service/technical role in Milpitas, CA. You will be a central technical resource across design, manufacturing and field teams as products move through life cycles, influencing designs and improving serviceability.

The role emphasizes diagnostics, data-driven actions, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce costs and enhance product performance in a global high-tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience with EUV tools or semiconductor processing equipment.
• Background developing and delivering remote technical training applying virtual reality, augmented reality and video.
• Strong analytic and data analysis skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary, multicultural teams and to take a leadership role when needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the central technical resource/interface with design engineering, manufacturing, technical support, quality, marketing and field as the product moves through the PLC.
• Act as expert on reticle profile subsystems and drive corrective actions or design-influencing changes.
• Proactively optimize serviceability and reduce cost-of-service through all PLC stages.
• Drive improvement of system hardware, diagnostics, software, tooling, documentation, and training.
• Influence early PLC designs to include features that optimize serviceability and IP protection.
