Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Groton, CT, seeks a Product Engineer to ensure conformance of parts produced by Operations. The role aims to reduce costs through design and process improvements, enhance cast quality, and support manufacturing to meet delivery timelines.

You will collaborate with the Engineering Department on PCC Structurals procedures, apply GD&T principles, and translate customer blueprints into inspection requirements, while driving manufacturing efficiency and quality gains.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Broad knowledge of mechanical, industrial, or materials science engineering.
• Strong data analysis and communication skills; MS Excel proficiency.
• Aerospace experience and statistics knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-demand technical assistance for manufacturing operations.
• Root cause and corrective action ownership for MRB.
• Improve part manufacturability through process optimization.
• Ensure dimensional compliance through process optimization.
• Liaise with customer contacts on technical and commercial matters.
