Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Quality, Mechanical, or related field).
• 3–5 years of quality engineering experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems, non-conformance processes, and root cause analysis.
• Experience in customer negotiation, quality audits, and developing work instructions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct part-specific quality planning for new parts.
• Develop work instructions based on customer specifications.
• Approve part routers per PCC procedures and customer specifications.
• Review customer specifications against PCC capabilities and negotiate adjustments.
• Evaluate non-conforming material using the RNC system.
• Submit non-conformance reports to customers and dispositions.
• Initiate RCAs to resolve quality issues.
• Review returned goods to determine validity.
• Conduct external audits of PCC suppliers and internal audits of PCC processes.
• Release products for shipment as Quality Representative.
• May supervise other engineers or technicians.
• Identify and address safety considerations relevant to quality tasks.
• Execute annual cost savings projects totaling at least three times the salary.
