Product Engineer - Contract Position in North Hollywood, CA (Hybrid)

Akkodis is seeking a Product Engineer for a contract role with a client in North Hollywood, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will have expertise in data segregation, triaging, and SolidWorks/Catia, while leading the team, managing product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Rate Range: $64/hour to $83/hour; rates may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading product design and development processes.
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements.
3. Managing product testing and validation to ensure quality and performance.
4. Providing technical support and troubleshooting during production.
5. Overseeing product lifecycle management and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in product engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Catia, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both team settings and independently.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $83.00 per hour
