Hex Technologies is seeking a Product Engineer Intern in San Francisco to help build AI-powered data tooling. You will work across the stack with mentors, designers, PMs, and AI engineers to deliver reliable, intelligent user experiences.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a CS or engineering degree with expected graduation in 2026 or 2027.
• Experience shipping software using JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Interest in AI-driven product experiences and data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build real product features across the stack using React, TypeScript, and/or Python.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to prototype agentic capabilities and prompting strategies.
• Design and improve end-to-end workflows for collaborative editing, data exploration, or AI-assisted development.
• Tackle performance, UX, and API design challenges to support AI-driven features.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
