Modine Manufacturing Company in Racine, WI seeks a Product Engineer II - NPD to develop advanced heat transfer products and sustain existing lines within the Heavy Duty Equipment unit. You will work with Product Management, engineering, sales, and manufacturing from concept to production, ensuring designs meet performance and cost targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering, 5+ years in product development, CAD proficiency, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in a Product Development or Application Engineering role.
• Experience in heat transfer systems and thermodynamics preferred.
• Working knowledge of CAD systems.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Excel and AI tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop HDE products and systems based on scope defined by Product Management and tied to the business unit strategies.
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers, Designers, Sales and Manufacturing during the entire development process from concept to production.
• Create standard documentation related to Engineering, Design and Material specification.
• Provide support for existing products, including continuous improvement and value add/value engineering (VAVE) to optimize performance and cost.
• Coordinate prototype builds, create comprehensive test plans, conduct tests and analyze results to validate designs.
• Collaborate with customers on application engineering projects related to new platform launches.
