Job summary

Cadence is seeking a Product Engineer in California to work with the FastSPICE R&D team on technology development, product validation, and customer issue analysis. You will support delivering high-quality FastSPICE solutions by evaluating technologies and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve performance and usability.

The role requires MOS transistor-level knowledge, SPICE/FastSPICE experience, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• MOS transistor-level design fundamentals required.
• Hands-on SPICE/FastSPICE experience from coursework or work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the FastSPICE R&D team to support new technology development and product enhancements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer-reported issues involving transistor-level circuit simulations.
• Validate and test new product features, methodologies, and improvements.
• Assist in reproducing, debugging, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with development teams.
• Develop and execute simulation test cases to evaluate product functionality and performance.
• Document findings, recommendations, and resolutions for internal teams and customers.
• Communicate technical information effectively to engineering teams and stakeholders.
