Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Union City, CA seeks a Production Engineer to write, maintain, and update SOPs, work instructions, and QC checklists; develop production instructions for Pilot and Mass Production; and analyze test logs to improve quality, yield, and efficiency.

You will manage engineering changes, support training, build test automation tools, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, PM, and Engineering to ensure readiness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Production Engineer or related manufacturing engineering role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively across departments as a collaborative team member.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate engineering changes, POC activities, training, and production execution.

Responsibilities

• Write, maintain, and periodically update SOPs, work instructions, and QC checklists.
• Build clear production instructions and SOPs for Pilot and Mass Production phases.
• Analyze production test logs and results to identify opportunities for quality, yield, and efficiency improvement.
• Review existing manufacturing processes and develop solutions to improve productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with approved production methods, quality standards, and documented procedures.
• Coordinate engineering changes with production demands and training requirements.
• Support implementation of approved changes on the production floor with proper documentation and training.
