Job summary

KANTO KAGAKU (S) PTE LTD in Ohio seeks a production operations professional to manage daily manufacturing activities, implement and improve SOPs, and support facility maintenance in a chemical production environment.

You will perform mixing and filling, chemical sampling, logging results, and ensure proper filing; conduct preventive maintenance checks, manage PPE stock, provide guidance and training to new operators, and uphold house-keeping and safe practices in production areas.

Qualifications

• Chemical engineering degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office; problem solving, SPC, and SAP knowledge.
• Microsoft Access knowledge will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform daily operations in accordance with SOPs.
• Make daily operation logs and perform container internal and external cleaning.
• Conduct mixing and filling activities.
• Perform chemical sampling and checks, sign on log sheets, and ensure proper filing.
• Check and maintain scheduled preventive maintenance works.
• Troubleshoot production process problems.
• Manage stock of safety PPEs, tools, and absorbent pads.
• Provide guidance and training for new operators.
• Monitor and maintain good practices and housekeeping in production areas.
