Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Product Engineer I in Juncos, Puerto Rico, to lead manufacturing engineering support, drive process improvements, and champion yield and quality initiatives that impact patient outcomes. You will coordinate with Operations, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure compliance and performance excellence.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, design into manufacturing, and supporting day-to-day production activities on the 3rd shift (Tue-Sat).

Qualifications

• Requires engineering degree and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with process improvements and yield/quality initiatives preferred.
• Ability to liaise across Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Provide manufacturing engineering support for testing methods and procedures.
• Lead device yield and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate layout, machining, plastics processing, and assembly planning activities.
