Job summary

ArmorWorks Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer II to design, develop, and detail new technologies and products for ground vehicles, aircrafts, and security needs. The role includes producing SolidWorks models, drafting technical documents, and supporting procurement, build, and test activities.

You will also help maintain legacy products and contribute to bid and proposal efforts, collaborating across engineering and program teams to meet requirements and schedules.

Job description

The Product Engineer II is responsible for creating product design concepts and drawings for internally or externally funded research and development programs, to include the development of armor, blast attenuating seats, and other product technologies for ground vehicles, aircrafts, and a wide variety of infrastructure security needs. Additionally, the Product Engineer II is responsible for assisting with the procurement, building, and integration of developmental products, as well as testing which may include functional, ballistic, blast, and/or drop tower testing. Lastly, the Product Engineer II is responsible for developing technical documents to support design reviews, testing, requirements tracking, trade studies, etc.
