Pockyt is hiring a Product Engineer in New York City to blend product, engineering, and operations. You’ll automate cross‑border money movement processes and build merchant workflows that cut complexity from compliance to onboarding.

• Proven ability to ship automations end-to-end.
• Experience with fintech or AI-native startups is a plus.
• Ability to work with executives and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with internal teams (ops, finance, compliance, GTM, support) to identify high-leverage workflows and design automation end-to-end.
• Build internal tools, agents, and integrations that reduce manual work (reconciliation, KYC queues, onboarding triage, ticket routing, reporting).
• Prototype and ship merchant-facing automation features, partnering with core engineering for integration and rollout.
• Use AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Codex) and LLM APIs to accelerate development from spec to prototype in hours.
• Define success metrics for each automation shipped (hours saved, errors reduced, time-to-resolution).
• Translate vague executive asks into shipped product.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design to upgrade prototypes into core features.
