Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in process, manufacturing, or equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in electronics, EMS, or high‑volume manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize electrical processes and systems used in manufacturing equipment, test stations, and automation platforms.
  • Support electrical process setup, validation, and optimization for assembly, test, and packaging operations.
  • Ensure electrical processes are capable, reliable, and compliant with specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues impacting production uptime, yield, or safety.
  • Diagnose failures involving PLCs, sensors, motors, drives, control panels, and test equipment.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Automation, and Production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Support NPI activities including electrical design reviews, equipment selection, and line readiness.
  • Assist with electrical equipment qualification, process validation, and ramp‑up support.
  • Ensure smooth transition from development to mass production.
  • Analyze process and equipment data to identify electrical root causes of defects, downtime, or variation.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, cycle time, and cost.
  • Create and maintain electrical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with Lite‑On engineering standards, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Ensure all electrical systems and processes comply with safety, EHS, and electrical codes.
  • Support risk assessments, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe equipment operation.
  • Promote safe electrical engineering and manufacturing practices.

Process & Equipment Engineering

  • Ensure electrical processes are capable, reliable, and compliant with specifications and quality standards.
Manufacturing & Equipment Support
