Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Product Engineer in California to drive design, development, and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle. You will work with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering to meet customer requirements, quality standards, and cost targets.

Responsibilities include design implementation, documentation, collaboration with production teams, and supporting new product launches throughout concept to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications; CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product designs, engineering changes, and process improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and BOMs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support production, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve efficiency.
• Analyze product performance, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions from concept through production launch.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams regarding technical requirements and product specifications.
• Conduct testing, validation, and engineering evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Participate in cost reduction, continuous improvement, and value engineering initiatives.
• Assist with project planning and execution to meet deadlines and business objectives.
