Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Director of Product Engineering in California to lead the development of a portfolio of industrial automation and measurement products from concept through manufacturing. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing mechanical, electrical, software, embedded systems, and test/verification teams.
You will shape the product strategy, build high-performing teams, partner with manufacturing for scalable production, and drive improvements in speed, quality, and cost while guiding
Qualifications
- Experience leading product engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record bringing complex industrial products to market.
- Strong ability to align engineering priorities with business goals.
- Experience driving engineering roadmaps and strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, software, embedded systems, and test/verification.
- Drive product development roadmap from concept to commercialization.
- Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure producibility, quality, and reliability.
- Own engineering processes, metrics, and best practices for speed and cost.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate technical opportunities and risks.
