Job summary

Carley Foundry, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to bridge design and production in our foundry operations, focusing on process and product development. In this hands-on role, you will drive improvements across tooling, casting processes, and new product introductions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, high-quality manufacturing and will apply problem‑solving and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment. This role offers growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or 3-5 years foundry/manufacturing experience.
• Experience with dry sand, green sand, permanent mold, or investment casting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new product introductions (NPI) from design through production.
• Review customer drawings and specifications to support tooling and process design.
• Assist with gating and feeding system development and validation.
• Collect and analyze process data to improve quality and efficiency.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Engineering to reduce scrap and improve yields.
• Support process documentation, audits, and PPAP activities.
• Contribute to lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction initiatives.
