Job summary

Carley Foundry, Inc. seeks an experienced Product Engineering Manager to lead the Product Engineering team and guide safe, reliable, and cost-effective casting process development from design review to production.

The ideal candidate will bring foundry experience, a track record of developing engineering teams, and success in improving product launches, quality, cost, and manufacturing performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least nine years of manufacturing engineering experience, including five years in management or technical leadership.
• Foundry experience in dry sand, green sand, permanent mold, or investment casting.
• Proven track record directing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing employees, managing resources, and delivering measurable operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Product Engineering team and set priorities, coaching and performance management.
• Drive new product introduction from quotation through tooling, production trials, and customer approvals.
• Provide technical direction on casting concepts, tooling layouts, and process documentation.
• Improve manufacturing performance by reducing scrap/rework and increasing yield and throughput.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement lasting corrective actions for product/process challenges.
• Oversee project schedules, resource planning, budgets, standards, and change control.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain and suppliers to meet production needs and commitments.
• Champion safety by incorporating hazard identification and safe design practices.
