Job summary

Replit seeks a Product Engineer to convert emerging ideas into polished experiences. You will build sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces while collaborating across AI models, agentic workflows, and web infrastructure to ship complete products.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Foster City, CA, with in-office requirements on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You will create editable, interactive artifacts using natural language interfaces and drive product quality with ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping user-facing products.
• Strong understanding of agentic software development stack and AI-assisted workflows.
• Deep experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own major product experiences from concept through design, implementation, launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Invent and build intuitive interfaces for generating, editing, arranging, and collaborating on AI-created presentations, data apps, and visual artifacts.
• Deliver exceptional frontend experiences across interaction design, typography, layout, motion, accessibility, performance, and error recovery.
• Partner with users, Product, Design, and AI engineers to understand workflows and turn feedback into better products.
• Create reusable editing, visualization, and collaboration primitives for future Replit products.
