Job summary

You will develop DFMEA and DVP&R documents, create BOMs and part numbers, review customer drawings, define control characteristics, and provide technical direction to the platform team while sustaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 1–4 years automotive experience.
• Thorough knowledge of design and development of mechanical components and systems, and testing engineering.
• Experience with DFMEA, FEA, and engineering processes; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and executes engineering programs within time and resource constraints.
• Releases final designs for manufacturing and procurement based on verification data.
• Creates and reviews drawings, BOMs and part numbers per HFMS standards.
• Develops ideas and improvements; ensures parts meet customer specifications.
• Defines control characteristics on internal and customer drawings.
• Provides technical direction and launch support to the platform team.
