Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to own the full lifecycle of analog and mixed-signal products, guiding them from concept through high-volume manufacturing.

You will connect Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Operations, and business teams to drive product success. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
• 5–7.5 years of semiconductor product engineering or similar experience.
• Solid understanding of analog, mixed-signal, or semiconductor product fundamentals.
• Ability to lead technical work and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment, test data, validation, and characterization.
• Ability to read and interpret datasheets, design specs, test plans, qualification reports.

Responsibilities

• Own full lifecycle of advanced linear and mixed-signal products from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Evaluate data through yields, reliability, failure analysis, and customer returns to identify improvements.
• Support sustaining product activities including yield improvement and cost reduction.
• Communicate results, recommendations, and risks to teams and leadership.
• Manage projects with schedules, milestones, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Validate products through testing, characterization, and data analysis.
• Share lessons learned across programs and improve NPI processes.
