Job summary

Airwallex in the United Kingdom seeks a senior leader to own the Finance AI transformation. You will be the architect of the Finance systems landscape, partnering with global teams to deliver high-impact changes.

You will embed with Finance, define the end-to-end AI roadmap from prototype to production, and drive build-versus-buy decisions while aligning stakeholders on the transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or forward deployed engineering experience.
• Strong Product Sense: You look at engineering through a commercial lens.
• Comfort with Ambiguity: You work in undefined spaces and map technical specs.
• Pragmatic Problem Solver: You deliver outcomes and overcome blockers.
• Clear Communication: You discuss trade-offs with infra teams and executives.

Responsibilities

• Embed deeply with the global Finance teams to identify high-impact use cases.
• Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for Finance.
• Own technical delivery from prototype to production.
• Codify building blocks that others can reuse.
• Lead change management and upskilling for new tools.
• Track, measure and communicate outcomes with accountability.
