Bernard is seeking an engineer to own production systems and work across the stack to turn complex operating problems into software used by dispatchers, technicians, and service leaders in New York City.

You will work directly with the founders and engineering team, talk to customers, see problems firsthand, and ship fixes that improve first-contact outcomes. Join a fast-growing team building the OS for appliance repair.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong in TypeScript and comfortable moving across backend and frontend systems.
• Shipped meaningful production software, not just prototypes.
• Autonomy, fast execution, and customer-focused outcome.
• Energized by broad scope and short feedback loop.

Responsibilities

• Build product workflows across calls, diagnostics, work orders, scheduling, dispatch, parts, and technician experiences.
• Ship AI agents and automation across voice, messaging, and workflows.
• Build production APIs, data models, integrations, dashboards, and internal tools.
• Own features from discovery through implementation, rollout, measurement, and iteration.
• Improve reliability and observability as usage scales.
