Job summary

Verizon in Boston is seeking a Product Engineer within the Business Product Engineering group to bridge engineering and business operations, focusing on simplifying 4G/5G Private Wireless Network dashboards so status is clear and actionable.

You will collaborate with customers and product managers to gather requirements, guide the roadmaps, craft user stories with acceptance criteria, and work with developers to build, test, and release features using zero-touch automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 1+ years of work experience.
Experience in technical product management with writing user stories and AC in engineering environments.
Experience in 4G/5G network and understanding of Core and RAN technologies to diagnose connection issues and performance bottlenecks.
Knowledge of security integration and vulnerability management tools including Prisma, Twistlock, and SonarQube.

Responsibilities

Collaborating with customers and business product managers to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
Guiding the product roadmap to meet enterprise customer needs effectively.
User Stories & Planning: Translating customer needs into clear user stories and testable Acceptance Criteria for engineering teams.
Technical Collaboration: Partnering with developers to build, test, and release features using zero-touch automation.
System Architecture: Driving the system architecture design for the dashboard while leading architectural solutions for new product requirements.
Data & Dashboards: Turning complex network metrics into simple dashboards and reports.
AIOps & Alerting: Defining alerting thresholds to reduce noise and provide clear troubleshooting steps.
